How to book your party
1) Decide on the date, start time and end time of your party

2) Select the location

3) Estimate the number of guests that you expect

4) Estimate the number of staff required:

1 Bartender to every 50 guests
1 Server to every 30 guests

5) Decide on the type of beverage service: Full Bar or Casual Bar (Beer & Wine)

6) Decide on any extra services, rentals, food prep, specialty drinks or themes for your party

7) Decide on the type of food services: Hors D'oeuvres, Buffet or plated Sitdown service

8) Sign Quote and fax to our office to confirm your date/staff

9) We'll show 1/2 to 1 hour before the party and make it an enjoyable event

Dress Code:

*Full Tuxedo
*Semi- Formal (black pants / tux shirt/ bow tie
*Standard Bistro (black pants / white dress shirt / long tie
*Khakis & Polo



How far in advance must I book staff for my event?
This may depend on the time of year, as holiday seasons and summer months tend to be busier than the rest of the year. However, generally a week's notice should be plenty of notice to find the perfect server(s) to meet your requirements (*more notice is recommended if you require a large number of service staff).

How will I know that my event has been booked?
Once the staff has been booked and all of the details of your event have been arranged, Servers a la Carte will send you a confirmation sheet (via fax, email or post) which will provide you with all of the details you require (including server's name, call-time, uniform, etc.)

Do Servers a la Carte servers / cooks / chefs arrive in uniform?
The standard uniform for servers is either a tuxedo, or tuxedo pants, vest, shirt and bow-tie (depending on your preference). If your event is more casual, and you would prefer that your server not arrive in tuxedo, please let us know, and can arrange for the server to arrive in all-black, or casual black and white attire. Theme costumes may also be arranged.

The standard uniform for a cook / chef is chef jacket and an apron.
